G&B Saxes

Using design technology from France, PT Kasih Betari Pratama launched the G&B brand Saxophone in Indonesia. PT Kasih Betari Pratama, in conjunction with teen performing and recording artists Gadiz V and Bass G, is trying to break the stereotype of the saxophone as being an instrument that can only be played by adults due to the difficulty in mastering it. At the premier in Indonesia, G&B proudly launched the product by introducing radical new colors, such as black, green, purple, red and white, which broke from the traditional saxophone colors.
The premier focused primarily on the exotic saxophones, such as the Sopranino, Curved Soprano, Curved End Soprano and Straight Alto. However, there was also room for the more traditional saxophones, such as the Alto, Tenor and Baritone saxophones. The G&B saxophone is a rare combination of centered intonation, agility, user-friendliness and sophisticated appearance, all at affordable pricing.
Curved Soprano
The Soprano with a curved bell (also known as a Baby Sax in Indonesia) uses a B flat key and has 25 valves (refined by adding F sharp on the upper register). This combination allows for ‘round tone’, wherein speed can be produced without sacrificing the soft sound character. The Curved Soprano is available in black, green, purple & red, as well as the traditional saxophone colors of gold, nickel & silver.

Sopranino
The G&B Sopranino, in the key of E flat, is the smallest instrument in the saxophone family. It’s one of the key G&B products. Like other G&B products, it appears larger due to its combination of intonation and agility. The valves are positioned so as to allow finger comfort while playing. The G&B Sopranino is available in black, white, gold, red, and silver.

Semi Curved Soprano
To differentiate this model from the Straight Soprano and the Curved Soprano, this G&B product is better known as ‘the Bass G Soprano’. It’s in the key of B flat combined with F sharp on the upper register; however, the curve at the end allows this soprano to produce thicker and firmer tone than the Straight or Curved Soprano. This saxophone is available in black, white, gold, purple, red, and silver.

Straight Alto
This Alto is straight in order to produce a thicker tone than a conventional alto saxophone. Like other G&B products, the range on the model becomes obvious fairly quickly. The ease of producing tone on all the registers, especially on the altissimo, makes this saxophone ideal for playing up-tempo. This saxophone is available in black, gold and silver.
